Where can I see my statement and balance?
- View your monthly statement and balance in the Ithemba App → “Accounts” tab.
- Statements are also emailed to you monthly.
- You can view detailed transactions, levy charges, and due dates in the app.
I’ve paid my rent, but my Ithemba App still shows “Rent Due.”
Payments reflect only once they are cleared by the bank and allocated using your unique tenant reference. If you paid after business hours or with an incorrect reference, the balance may temporarily appear as “due.” Always allow up to one business day for updates and confirm via the “Accounts” tab
What are Urban Management Levy fees, and why must I pay them?
These levies cover shared precinct services such as security, cleaning of public areas, landscaping, waste removal, and bylaw enforcement within the urban development zone. They are mandated by the City and passed through proportionally to tenants to maintain a safe, clean urban environment
How do I give notice?
- Submit written notice of cancellation at least one full calendar month in advance
- Send your notice to the email address listed on your lease or through the Ithemba App → “Accounts/Notice” section if available
- You’ll receive confirmation once processed
I received a traffic fine because the building has no parking. Who is responsible?
Traffic fines are the driver’s personal responsibility. Public-road parking is subject to municipal bylaws, and the building cannot cancel or reimburse fines issued off-site
No Under 16s / Students Policy
No children under 16 or students are allowed to stay at The Herringbone.
